6A: Shawnee Mission West (11-1) vs. Hutchinson (10-2)
The Hutchinson Salthawks will try for an eighth state title in the past nine seasons on Saturday when they take on SM West. The Salthawks and Vikings met for the 2006 state title won by Hutch, 21-14.
5A: Bishop Miege (7-5) vs. Bishop Carroll (12-0)
The Class 5A state championship between Bishop Carroll and Bishop Miege will feature two of the state’s best quarterbacks and two of the best linebackers.
3A: Silver Lake (13-0) vs. Scott City (13-0)
Silver Lake and Scott City entered the season as top two ranked teams in Class 3A. Now, the two unbeaten squads will face off in the 3A title game Saturday in Hutchinson.
4A: Eudora (12-1) vs. Holton (13-0)
A pair of solid ground attacks will be featured in Saturday’s Class 4A state championship between Holton and Eudora.
2-1A: Meade (11-1) vs. Centralia (12-0)
The Buffaloes and Panthers have combined to win the past three 2-1A titles each running their variation of the single wing.

Meade quarterback Kellan Hernandez hoists the state championship trophy after the Buffaloes controlled the ball for 36 of the 48 minutes in defeating St. Marys Colgan, 20-14. Hernandez rushed 31 times for 151 yards and two touchdowns in the game.
Blue Valley rolls to 5A championship
Big second quarter lifts Blue Valley - Stilwell to 35-14 win over Bishop Carroll to claim the class 5A state championship.
